Invenergy introduces students to energy at Cedar Lake Boys and Girls Club

Members of Invenergy’s Foundry Works Energy Center team visited the Cedar Lake Boys and Girls Club to volunteer at an educational event facilitated by the club’s Director of Programs. The team helped facilitate an activity where participants assembled wind anemometers and learned how to test the wind around them. The 25 kids who participated in the event learned about different energy sources and what it means to work in the industry.  

The Foundry Works team had a great time volunteering and seeing the Boys and Girls Club in action!
